As local residents, we are trying to raise money to restore and preserve a forgotten and abandoned historic graveyard of the earliest settlers (September 22, 1841 - 1870’s), Veterans from Civil War,  World War I and World War II (1886's - 1900's) of Community Memorial  Garden Cemetery.

The Cemetery is located on Vergie Page Drive, Farmerville, LA.

There are 16 documented burials from 1841 to 1918, include the family names such as Brown, Calaham, Fields, Finley, Harris, Kemp, Lile, Moses and Tyle.If we forget those who have sacrificed their lives to defend our freedom, we risk forgetting that our freedom is worth dying for in the first place.” Unknown

Your generous donation will help us restore and preserve this historical treasure so it can be visited by the public.

Abandon Cemetery

This is an abandon cemetery. We are attempting to aide in its restoration care. This is further an historic cemetery with a number of Veterans from Civil War, World War I, World War II to Vietnam War buried in this cemetery. This has been completely a volunteer project to restore this abandon cemetery; however expenses for product, supplies, travel and manpower have gotten outrageous. We are using our own money to fund this project. We are in dire need of funding.
